'PORTIA CAYENNE AFIRE' I've been on and off the fence about rehoming Portia for several years now. The time has come to let her go. She had many years of professional training and was shown before we purchased her April 2016 (trained 2nd level dressage/schooling third). Shown Halter, Pleasure Hunter (flat classes). Daughter of champion Sire 'Justafire DGL', and Granddaughter of Numaa++. DNA typed, Sweepstakes Nominated. Correct conformation lovely movement. Was evaluated as a PSG, National level horse by international Judges. Valued at $25,000 when younger. Since we have had Portia, she has been used by different ages and levels of riders, at our private barn. Beginner-Novice riders with lessons/supervision, confident intermediates riding on their own after they have shown they can work independently. Portia appreciates soft hands and works off your seat with a knowledgeable rider that is in sync with her. Easy to groom, tack up, etc. No special needs or health issues (no medication, injections, treatments, etc.). All up to date on shots (4-way flu/tet), de-worming, hoof trim, dental. Great for vetting and farrier (can hold her foot up with one finger). Portia gets along with other horses when turned out or can be by herself. Tidy in her stall/paddock area. Have videos of Portia being ridden (not fancy) you can see if you come over (don't download well enough to send). An assortment of blankets, leather halter with her name engraved, and other belongings go with her (no riding tack). My first choice of partners for Portia is a confident more advanced (well-schooled) rider that can appreciate all her training. She picks up quickly with a knowledgeable rider and could be ready to show in a short period of time. Multiple visits, your own pre-purchase exam, trainer evaluation, will be welcome. $6000/cash, to the best of homes. Price is firm. No trades, leases, etc. Please call (three-six-zero) 366-3631 (land line, no text), for more information. Thank you.
