If you are looking for a silky SMOOTH, very laid back and quiet gelding, you will totally love Vegas.

Vegas is a 9 year old registered Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. He is very well bred. He is a direct son of well known stallion, Southern Nights. His dam is a Rex’s Golden Touch mare. Vegas stands 14.2. He has a beautiful, thick mane and gorgeous tipped ears. His tail drags the ground.

He is more whoa than go, and I do feel that most any level of rider can enjoy riding him. He is very laid back, confident and at ease on the trail. Just walks along unless asked to go faster.

He is VERY comfortable to ride. His gait is automatic and so smooth. He is so much fun to ride. He has a smooth flat foot walk and foxtrot. He can also canter.

His walk is not jarring at all like the walk of many gaited horses can be. I have been struggling with knee and back pain the past year, and this is one of the only horses that I can consistently ride day in and day out without feeling achy or sore. He really is silky smooth.

Vegas also has a fancy handle on him. He necks reins, sidepasses, moves off your legs, stops nicely, and is soft in the bridle.

He is not buddy sour or barn sour. Also, we ride him out alone often and he does quite well.

He handles technical terrain impressively and is thoughtful about how he places his feet.

Gets along well in a herd and is easy to catch in a field.

Vegas likes people and is a friendly guy. He’s happy to let you dote on him and enjoys attention.
